  • Journalist Abhijeet Mitra, who made derogatory remarks about the Konark temple of Orissa, filed an appeal in the Supreme Court for bail and said that his life is in danger but the Honorable Court rejected his appeal saying that if his life threatened so it can not be safer than anywhere else in prison for this, Abhijit Mitra arrested on September 20 by accusing the police that he has hurt people’s religious feelings which consequences could be very serious.
