  • The Ministry of Railways recently announced a huge announcement that soon 6 thousand railway stations will  fully equipped with WiFi.
  • Recently, State Bank of India has changed almost 1300 branches name and IFSC codes. SBI has made this change in all its branches located in Chennai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Mumbai, Lucknow and Hyderabad.
  • Former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee has recently launched an app called “Neta” App. Its main purpose is to make people’s representatives evaluate the functions of the public through the app.
  • The Google company has given $ 1 million in relief and rescue work for Kerala flood victims.
  • The Supreme Court of India has approved weak vision students of MBBS course. The Supreme Court says that students with weak vision can get admission in this course by passing the relevant entrance examinations.
  • Arpinder Singh of India won gold medal in men’s triple jump competition in the recently concluded Asian Games Competition. They won gold by achieving a distance of 16.77 meters. India’s Table Tennis Championships: Akshar Sharad Kamal and Monika Batra – mixed doubles India got bronze medal in the competition. On the other hand, Manjeet Singh of India got gold in Asian Games for India in a 800 meter race.
