Recently the Indian Income Tax Department is considering a decision in which single mother will not require to register the father’s name for PAN card. For making PAN card, a 49A form has to be filled in which the father’s name must be filled. The income tax department is going to reshuffle this rule soon.

  • Ramon Magsaysay award given in the memory of former President of the Philippines, Ramon Magsaysay, has given to 6 people in 2018 this year, including two Indians. This award has given to the famous psychologist Bharat watwani, who has given the award for working the destitute and mentally ill people. On the other hand this has given to Sonam Wangchuk, who changed the life of the youth of Ladakh.
  • This award founded in 1957, the award gives every year by the Ramon Magsaysay Awards Foundation. This award knows as Asia’s Nobel Prize.
  • In its report given on the basis of data received by a survey by the University Grants Commission, the University has stated that more than 80 thousand teachers in the University and higher educational institutions are fake. The Commission has instructed the states to ensure that they take out the fake teachers.
  • Recently the central government has given the rumor to the lie that banks will remain closed for 6 days in the first week of September. The central government has said that this rumor is false which can create fear among people through social media. The center has said that the bank will close only on September 2 and September 8 throughout the week.

  • According to a recent report, the Law Commission has made some recommendations to the Central Government, in which it is not right to have a disparity in age for the marriage of a boy and girl. Law Commission says that the girl’s age is 18 years and the boy’s age is 21 years. According to the Law Commission, it is important to keep an equal age.
  • In its recommendation from the Central Government, the Law Commission has also said that it is also wrong to give tax exemption to undivided families of Hindus. This law is being wrongly used for the sake of tax evasion, hence there is a need to make changes in this law.

  • On August 31, 2018, the Supreme Court has postponed its hearings on Article 35 A, till January 2019, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
