  • Famous Indian golf player Gaganjeet Bhullar has captured the 2018 Fiji International Golf title.
  • Asia Pacific Institute for Boarding Development (AIBD) India has recently  appointed as President of Asia Pacific Institute Development Board.
  • The name of the Mughalsarai railway station in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh has changed to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Railway Station. As this had already announced by the government before.
  • Recently, the Government of Karnataka has launched “Sawacchmev Jaite”, a rural cleanliness campaign.
  • The purpose of which is to bring the message of cleanliness in the state of Karnataka to the common masses.
  • The Delhi Government has recently launched “Shaheed Samman Yojna” under which the families of martyrs will give financial assistance of one crore rupees and one member of the family will provide employment in the state of Delhi.
  • “The Katsa law” is a law that has passed by the Parliament of the United States. This is a type of defense restriction law under which the United States prohibits the United States to impose sanctions on any country purchasing defense. Under this, North Korea Russia and Iran have banned already.
  • Recently, HDFC Bank has announced an increase in interest rates for FD accounts by 0.6% on maturity, which will effective from the first week of August.

  • In order to facilitate investment in India and to attract investors globally, Government of India has constituted “Invest India” Agency. Its main objective is to provide investment information to entrepreneurs and provide opportunities to contribute to the development of related countries.
  • China has successfully tested its first Hypersonic aircraft successfully. Its name is ‘ZingCong-2’ or ‘Starry Sky-2’. It is a nuclear weapon carrying aircraft, its ability to compete and fail to act with modern anti-missile defense systems of enemy.
  • Recently, India’s table tennis player, Swastika Ghosh, captured the bronze medal in the Hong Kong Open Table Tennis. Swastika won this bronze medal in the junior girls’ doubles match.
  • Women’s Hockey Cup to be held in July-August (2018), which was held in London, London, but the current champion Netherlands reclaimed it, defeating Ireland 6-0 and won Women’s Hockey World Cup again.
  • August 6 is the 23rd anniversary of the atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima. On this day, prayers are carried out worldwide for those victims of this attack.
