The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has released the IBPS clerks recruitment notification-2018 for the recruitment of clerical cadres in various public sector banks in India. IBPS clerk is one of the most attracting jobs in India. It is a great job for those who want to work in the banking sector. There are lots of benefits and opportunities for career growth in this job. This year, a total of 7275 vacancies have been announced by the IBPS.

Depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2019-20 based on the business needs of the participating organisation and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the participating organisations keeping in view the separate of government guidelines on reservation policy administrative convenience extra. the validity for CRP clerk-VIII will automatically expire at the close of business on 31/03/ 2020 with or without giving any notice.

State wise and category wise vacancies of each of the participating organisations are given in the notice.

The system of common recruitment process online preliminary and online main examination and provisional allotment for recruitment of clerical cadre posts in participating organisation has the approval of the appropriate authorities.

  • Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests separately by securing cut-off marks to be decided by IBPS. Adequate number of candidates in each category will be shortlisted for main examination as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements.

  • All the tests except English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

Each candidate will require to obtain a minimum score in each test of Main Examination and also a minimum total score consider for further process. Depending on number of the State / UT wise vacancies available, cut-offs will decide and candidates will consider for provisional allotment. Prior to the completion of provisional allotment process scores obtained in the Online Main Examination will not share with the candidates.

The total marks allotted for online Main Examination are 200. Marks will be converted out of 100 for Provisional allotment. A candidate should qualify in the online Main Examination and be sufficiently high in the merit to be considered for subsequent provisional allotment process, details of which will be made available subsequently on IBPS website.
